You may need to end your Marketplace plan if you get other health coverage, or for another reason. The date your plan coverage ends depends on whether you’re ending it for everyone or for some people on the application. You don’t need to end your coverage if you’re enrolling in a new or different plan during Open Enrollment.
Don't end your Marketplace plan until you know for sure when your new coverage starts to avoid a gap in coverage. Once you end Marketplace coverage, you can’t re-enroll until the next Open Enrollment Period (unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period).
