How do I find my plan ID?

Share:

Each Marketplace application plan has a unique plan ID.

How to keep the same coverage

If you have Marketplace coverage and want to keep the same coverage for the next year, you’ll need to review and update your application and select a plan. To keep the same plan you had last year (or a similar one):

  1. Select the green “Enroll” button on the bottom left side of “Your current plan” card located at the top of your plan results.
  2. Select “Saved Plans” at the top of your plan results to see your plan (and plan ID).
  3. If you want to enroll in the same plan, select the green ENROLL button. You should make sure your plan includes your preferred doctors, pharmacies, and prescription drugs. Even if you’re still satisfied, it’s a good idea to compare plans to see what’s covered and what your costs will be before you enroll.

If you don’t want to keep your current plan or your plan is no longer available, in “Saved Plans,” choose a new plan so you stay covered the next year.

If you’re new to the Marketplace

If you’re new to Marketplace coverage, it’s a good idea to compare plans to find the one that best meets your needs. If you’re previewing plans and prices and you find one or more plans that you like, write down the plan IDs. You’ll find the plan ID below the plan’s name.

When you return later to enroll:

  1. Select the green “Filter Plans” button to the left of the screen in your plan results.
  2. Enter the plan ID in the box to the left under “Search by plan ID.”

If the plan ID isn’t valid

If you enter your plan ID in the box under “Search by plan ID,” you may get an “Invalid plan ID” message. If this happens, you may not be able to enroll in that plan. Check the plan ID to make sure you entered it correctly. If it’s entered correctly and still invalid, you can choose another plan or call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596.
