Each Marketplace application has a unique identification number or application ID (sometimes called just an “APP ID” or “ID”).
Note: Your application ID is different from your plan ID.
2 ways to find your application ID
1. Online:
- Log into your HealthCare.gov account.
- Look at "Your Existing Applications." The application ID (ID#) is at the bottom right, as shown.
2. In your eligibility notice:
Look for your "Application ID" at the top left of your eligibility notice, as shown. You'll get this notice after you submit your application. You can also pick it up in your Marketplace account messages.
If you've submitted a paper application
If you complete a paper application, or an agent, broker, insurance company, or the Marketplace Call Center helps you submit an application, we'll create an application ID for you.
You’ll need your application ID to view your application on HealthCare.gov. You can start the process by creating an account.
