You can get help applying and enrolling in a Marketplace plan (with any cost savings you qualify for) 3 ways: by phone, with an in-person assister, or with an agent/broker.
When you submit your Marketplace application, we’ll also check if you might qualify for free or low-cost coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). If it looks like anyone in your household qualifies, we’ll send your information to your state agency. They’ll contact you about enrollment.
By phone
Contact the Marketplace Call Center. Get free, non-biased personal help. Call to ask a question, start or finish an application, compare plans, or enroll. Available every day, except certain holidays, and in other languages.
In-person help in your community
Find local help. Search by your city and state or ZIP code to get a list of local people and organizations who can help you apply, pick a plan, and enroll. Some offer help in languages other than English, other specialized services, or in-person help.
Health insurance agents & brokers
Agents and brokers can help you enroll through the Marketplace or handle the whole process. They may be paid a commission by health insurance plans when they help enroll you in a plan. Search for someone near you or have them contact you.
